As we mention in other products within our Sweet Lavender Range, we have found the perfect combination of essential oils to really give this product its namesake. 

We have used Lavender essential oil as it brings your skin a refreshing new life. It is thought to improve blood circulation which boosts your complexion and gives your skin a natural healthy glow. It helps in reducing any fine line or signs of aging on the body and therefore keeps your skin looking youthful and refreshed. Lavender is thought to help in reducing stress so we thought this was key for when you want to just recline in the bath and escape from all the stressors of the day.

Petitgrain Essential Oil has a refreshing citrus aroma which mixes with the Lavender smell delightfully. It is thought to promote relaxing feelings, and calm the skin, therefore helping to give your overall self a moment to breathe. Due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial benefits, it is really useful in soothing and healing damaged or broken skin too, so can be handy if your body has been through a bit of rough and tumble. 

We have used Elemi Essential Oil in this bath bomb as it offers a great rejuvenating treatment for your body. It is soft and fragrant and works as an antiseptic, which protects your body from infection and doubles up to be effective in treating wounds. As if that wasn’t enough, it is also a natural tonic, meaning that it can help to tone up your skin, leaving it more energised and supple. And last but not least we have used Frankincense Essential Oil, due to its lovely woody spicy scent. It is also thought to help reduce inflammation, and therefore works as a great natural remedy for soothing your skin.

Other ingredients include: Bicarbonate of Soda, and Citric Acid, for that satisfying fizz when it hits the water; Corn Starch, to slow down the bath bomb’s reaction so that the indulgent experience lasts longer; Apricot Kernel Oil, due to its wonderful moisturising properties; Witch Hazel, a useful natural liquid binder that we use in our bath bombs; Grapefruit Seed Extract, as its full of antioxidants; and Dried Lavender Flowers, to offer even more of a Lavender hit.
