Purity Lip Balm
Sometimes it’s important to bring it back to the basics, which is why we have produced the fairtrade certified Purity Lip Balm, a lip balm that contains purely the base ingredients, without a specific scent of flavour, but which still carries the moisturising benefits.
A key ingredient for this balm is Apricot Kernel Oil, as it takes such good care of skin. It is an emollient which means that it absorbs easily into the skin, and creates a moisture sealing barrier, therefore keeping your lips hydrated for longer. It is also super rich in essential fatty acids, which are great at helping to keep our skin soft and smooth.
Grapeseed oil is another ingredient that we love to use in our lip balms, as it is super rich in Vitamin E. Vitamin E is great at battling free radicals in the skin, which are the nasty molecules that are responsible for breaking down our skin’s natural collagen, therefore we believe the more Vitamin E we can get, the better! This is why we have also included Vitamin E Oil in all our lip balms, to help you along the journey towards smoother lips.
The two other highly moisturising ingredients within our Purity Lip Balm are Beeswax and Shea butter, which are both naturally high in Vitamin A and both play a key role in keeping your skin soft and supple. Shea butter helps to lock your skin in with a natural barrier to keep the moisture in and beeswax helps your skin in preserving and using this moisture to keep your skin hydrated, the perfect team.
