Romantic Bath Oil
Cedarwood Essential Oil is thought to help tighten the muscles and the skin, helping to keep your skin firm and supple. It carries a clean woody smell that is a delight on the senses, especially when mixed with Patchouli Essential Oil, as we have here. Patchouli Essential Oil has a wonderful sweet spicy scent, which mixes beautifully with the woody scent of the Cedarwood, to produce a lovely warming sensation on the senses. It is thought that Patchouli can encourage the release of serotonin and dopamine, which are both hormones that ease feelings of anxiety and anger, therefore helping you to relax and fully get in the mood for love. It also has been thought to contain the power to boost hormones and in turn increase libido, and so is often considered as a powerful natural aphrodisiac (we didn’t call this oil romantic for nothing!).
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil works a treat in this bath oil, due its sweet slightly fruity aroma, which combines so gorgeously with the earthy woody notes that stem from the oils mentioned above. Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is a very effective skin cleanser (rather fitting for bath time!), due to its antibacterial properties, and actually helps to boost your cells into regenerating, meaning that it is a great healer and strengthens your skin in turn. We have also used Lavender Essential Oil, as it complements the other’s aromas wonderfully, and also because it is thought to have a calming and relaxing feeling on the mind and body, so that you can feel fully content.
We use Grapeseed oil, Canola Oil, Avocado Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil and Peach Kernel Oil within our bath oils, to provide a super nourishing and moisturising experience as well as a calming one. All of these pure oils are light and emollient, meaning that they are non-greasy and also that they absorb easily into the skin. This means that while you bathe, these oils shall be deeply moisturising your skin so that you feel silky smooth afterwards, and smelling of Roses.
Finally, we have also used Grapefruit Seed Extract, as it is rich in antioxidants, which work wonders at keeping your skin healthy and fresh.
